Green tea EGCG has the most robust evidence among herbal teas — approximately +80 kcal/day above caffeine alone (Dulloo 1999), but tolerance develops. Ginger has anti-nausea and potential GI effects; no fat loss RCT evidence. Peppermint aids digestive comfort, not fat loss. Dandelion and hibiscus produce only water loss.
